About Us
No one can ever forget the day that they, or a loved one is diagnosed with a type of cancer. Ours was June 19th 2009. Our sweet six month old had leukemia. What on earth do you do when you are given this kind of news?

In our case, many people wanted to help out, but were a distance away. We came up with the idea of wearing a t-shirt on the same day of every week to show our support for our cancer fighter. And what better shirt than “I want a bad hair day!” is there. Having a bad hair day would be a simple problem compared to all that the “cancer fighters” are required to endure. The shirts were a big hit and soon most of the nursing staff, friends, neighbors and family were sporting their shirt.

Another way people tried to help was to raise money. This seemed to be a difficult thing to do. Cancer treatment is very expensive, and can cause serious financial trouble to those who got their cancer news without insurance or a job. So we decided to make a way for the shirts to help raise money.

Not only can the shirts help to raise money for a family living through cancer, but it can provide a way for others to be a part of the family’s life. Anyone can support a cancer fighter and believe me, another one on the team is always better!
